Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has announced a compensation of ₹4 lakh to families who lost 70-100% of their homes and ₹6 lakh to those who lost their land in floods and landslides and ₹10 lakh to families who lost both. Over 58,000 families were rehabilitated in Kerala. As many as 95 people lost their lives in the floods till Wednesday.
