Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday announced that his government will provide government jobs to one family member of the farmers who died during protest at Delhi borders. Apart from the job, an additional compensation of ₹5 lakh will also be given to the families. "The [Centre] should have consulted the agrarian states...before passing the [farm] laws," he said.
