A landslide occurred in the hilly Jhalimath village in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag on Monday. Several cowsheds and toilets were damaged in the incident, prompting the administration to shift 11 families to safer places. A chunk of the slope beneath the village slid several hundred metres down to the banks of the Alaknanda river, District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh said.
