One of the first viral YouTube videos, "Leave Britney Alone" by Chris Crocker, has been sold as a non-fungible token, or NFT, for over $41,000 (about ₹30 lakh). The video was first uploaded to YouTube in September 2007 and garnered over 20 lakh views within 24 hours. Crocker said they created the video as a "gender-bending teenage high school dropout".
