The Interim Budget presented by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal was on Monday passed in the Lok Sabha amid walkout by Congress and Left parties. Goyal also introduced the Appropriation Bill and Finance Bill in the house by a voice vote. Among major announcements, the Budget had proposed ₹75,000-crore cash transfer scheme for farmers with up to 2 hectares of land.
