Larsen & Toubro has signed a deal to buy a 20.4% stake in information and technology services firm Mindtree from Café Coffee Day Founder VG Siddhartha for reportedly ₹980 per share. This gives Siddhartha an exit from the firm he backed nearly two decades ago. L&T is also expected to make an offer to buy an additional 31% Mindtree stake.
