British luxury car maker Rolls-Royce recorded the highest-ever sales in its 116-year history in the first quarter of 2021. The automaker, owned by BMW, delivered 1,380 cars in the quarter, a 62% jump from the same period a year ago. It said that the demand was especially strong for Cullinan, its nearly 3-ton SUV that sells for around $400,000.
