Madras High Court Justice S Vaidyanathan has withdrawn his observation that parents, especially those of female students, feel that co-ed Christian educational institutions are "unsafe" for the future of their children. He had made the statement while hearing a petition to quash an ongoing internal sexual harassment committee's proceedings against a faculty member of Madras Christian College.
