Automaker Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has reported a nearly 24% decline in its net profit to ₹1,355 crore in the quarter ended September from ₹1,779 crore in the year-ago period. The fall was driven by the automaker's quarterly passenger and commercial vehicle sales declining 21% year-on-year. Its revenue from operations fell by 14.5% year-on-year to ₹10,935 crore during the period.
