A passenger named Sujit Singh on Akasa Air flight from Varanasi to Mumbai was detained for allegedly trying to open plane's emergency exit before takeoff, officials said. They added that after cabin crew alerted the pilot, the aircraft returned to the apron. After that, the passenger was detained for questioning, and he said he acted "out of curiosity," officials added.
