Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Kumar Awasthi on Wednesday said wearing masks has been made mandatory in the state. He also added that there may be legal action against those not wearing masks. Awasthi had earlier stated that hotspots in 15 districts with six or more coronavirus cases will be put under lockdown.
