Marathi author and activist Dr Anil Awachat died due to a prolonged illness at his home in Pune on Thursday at the age of 78 years. He was admitted to a hospital due to health issues but was discharged four days ago. He, along with his wife, had founded Muktangan Rehabilitation Center in Pune.
