Researchers from Royal Global University and USTM have confirmed potent antioxidant and anticancer properties in Anemone rivularis, a traditional Meghalaya herb. Its leaf extract showed high phenolic and flavonoid levels, strong free-radical scavenging, and dose-dependent cancer-cell death in lab tests. Scientists say it offers promise as a natural lead for future drug development.
