Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman Kusal Mendis, who was arrested on Sunday after the SUV he was driving hit and killed a 64-year-old cyclist, has been released on bail. Panadura Additional Magistrate granted the 25-year-old's bail on two sureties worth $5400 (₹4 lakh). Mendis has also been ordered to pay compensation worth $5400 (₹4 lakh) to the victim's family.
