Home Ministry has asked West Bengal government to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar for sitting on dharna with political parties. This comes after Supreme Court said CBI cannot take any coercive action against Kumar in connection with chit fund scams. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee started the dharna to protest CBI's move to raid Kumar's residence.
