Union Home Ministry has downgraded the security cover of some politicians like RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, among others. The decision was taken after a comprehensive review of the VIP protectees, provided security by the Central Armed Police Forces. As per reports, Z+ security for Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has also been withdrawn.
