The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 1,510 malaria cases till June 13 this year, according to data provided by the public health department. The city had reported 5,007 cases of malaria in 2020, it added. The Additional Municipal Commissioner said, "Though we had started the preparation for water-borne diseases late, we can keep it under control."
