All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) wrote to Supreme Court (SC) that "Mohammedan Law is founded...on the Holy Quran" and its "validity cannot be tested". The board also told SC that a person belonging to one faith cannot question religious practices of another. This comes after a BJP leader sought ban on polygamy, "nikah halala" and other Muslim practices.
