NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR), an Earth science satellite being jointly built by NASA and ISRO, got a send-off ceremony in California before it ships out to India later this month. The radar imaging satellite will measure the movement of Earth's surfaces to provide information on trends that affect global challenges like food security, NASA said.
