The Centre says Naxal affected districts have fallen from 126 to just 11 as of October 2025, driven by the 2015 National Policy and Action Plan. LWE violence is down 89% since 2010, and deaths of civilians and security forces have dropped over 91%. Security expansion, financial choking, roads, telecom and development schemes continue to prevent resurgence.
