Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said that there is a need for a quick consensus at the WTO on the proposal for patent waiver on COVID-19 vaccines. "To overcome this crisis much faster...we need expeditious....transfer of technology and availability of the raw material," Goyal said. He added that the United States has given "limited" support for vaccines.
