Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) issued a new Rs 100 currency note with a new map which shows India's Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura regions as part of Nepali territory. The note carries previous NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari's signature and 2081 BS as the date of issuance, denoting the year 2024. The map also features Mount Everest and Ashoka Pillar.
