The World Health Organization on Tuesday said in its weekly report that new COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to drop globally. Compared to the previous week, new cases declined by 5% and deaths declined by 8%. Over 10 million new cases and over 52,000 deaths were reported last week. Only the Western Pacific region reported a 46% increase in cases.
