Nissan discovers $84 mn under-reported payments to sacked Chairman

Nissan has recognised $84 million in charges related to under-reported compensation for former Chairman Carlos Ghosn, who was sacked last year. The company also slashed its annual profit outlook on weaker global sales. Arrested and detained in Tokyo since November 19, Ghosn has been indicted in Japan on charges of under-reporting his salary at Nissan.
