Surbhi Karwa, who topped the LLM class at the National Law University, Delhi, on Saturday remained absent from the convocation ceremony, where she was to receive a gold medal from CJI Ranjan Gogoi. Karwa said she was protesting against the manner in which the Supreme Court handled the sexual harassment allegations made by a female employee against CJI Gogoi.
