The customary exchange of sweets between the BSF and Pakistan Rangers along Attari-Wagah Border on Wednesday on Pakistan's Independence Day did not take place this year. Earlier, the forces did not exchange sweets on the occasion of Eid al-Adha either. This comes after Pakistan downgraded its diplomatic ties with India following the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
