The Labour Ministry has said that Centre has no intention to delay the fixation of minimum wages and national floor wages. This comes after reports claimed that the formation of an expert group with a three-year term is an attempt to delay the fixation. The Centre has earlier constituted an expert group to provide technical inputs and recommendations on wages.
