The Delhi High Court has directed the Centre to ensure that no public servant continues to occupy the residential accommodation allotted to them for long after their retirement from the service. The court told the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs that it expects the government to vacate illegally-occupied accommodations and also recover dues for the period of illegal occupation.
