The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected Centre and Assam government's pleas, seeking time for re-verification of Assam NRC. "Regime similar to Aadhaar should be created to ensure security of NRC data. Exclusions should be published only online on August 31," the top court ordered. Only hard copies of lists of inclusions and exclusions will be provided at district offices.
