Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has said that the opposition knew that PM Narendra Modi-led NDA government had the majority, but the motion was a "fight between majority and morality". "Sentiments of 5 crore people of Andhra are hurt. BJP has betrayed us yet again," said the Telugu Desam Party chief after defeat in the no-confidence motion.
