WHO's regional director for Europe, Hans Kluge said that the acute phase of coronavirus pandemic is not the time to cut its funding. This comes after US President Donald Trump said that he may put on hold US' contributions to WHO, having accused the organisation of being biased towards China. Notably, the US is the biggest contributor to the WHO.
