Guinness World Records has rejected an application by a New Zealand couple, who believed they had dug up the world's largest potato weighing 7.9 kg. "Sadly the specimen is not a potato and is in fact the tuber of a type of gourd," Guinness World Records told the couple in an email following months of submitting photos and paperwork.
