Cancer Research UK scientists have created an online breast cancer calculator that could be used by practitioners to help predict breast cancer risks in women. The system basis its prediction on factors including weight, age at menopause, alcohol consumption, use of hormone replacement therapy and genetic data. The system has taken into account over 300 genetic indicators of breast cancer.
