OpenAI has listed a researcher role to study risks from recursive self-improvement, where AI systems could help build smarter versions of themselves. The role, under its Preparedness team, offers salary of around ₹3.7-crore. The role requires reasoning about problems that may not yet exist, with the listing stressing candidates must be "tasteful and strategic".
