Oracle paid women $13,000 less per year than men: Lawsuit

A class action lawsuit filed against US business software maker Oracle alleged the company "systematically" underpaid thousands of women. It said that an analysis of Oracle's payroll data revealed women were paid an average of $13,000 less per year than men for similar jobs. "These are some of the strongest statistics I've ever seen...amazingly powerful numbers," the plaintiffs' lawyer said.
