An "ordinary" Chinese vase that was put up for auction in France was sold for $7.5 million (over ₹61 crore), nearly 4,000 times its estimated value. Around 30 people engaged in a fierce bidding war for the vase, which many believe is a rare artefact from the 18th century. "It's a crazy story," auctioneer Jean-Pierre Osenat said on the bidding.
