The original Winnie-the-Pooh map drawn by artist EH Shepard in 1926 was sold for approximately ₹3.9 crore (£430,000), setting a world record for the highest price paid for a book illustration sold at an auction. The illustration was privately owned and had not been seen for around half a century. Four other Winnie-the-Pooh illustrations were also sold at the auction.
