The Pakistan government on Friday revised downward the GDP growth rate for 2017-18 from 5.79% to 5.22%. When the original estimate was reported in April last year by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, it claimed that the 5.79% GDP growth rate was the highest in the last 13 years.
