While talking about 'Phir Hera Pheri', producer Firoz Nadiadwala said that actors Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty were alien to the concept of a sequel and asked him "Has part 2 [of any movie] ever been made". "We had our discussions...after which the trio put their total confidence in us...By God's grace, it turned out well," Nadiadwala added.
