The Parliament has passed a bill to confer the status of institution of national importance (INI) to a cluster of Jamnagar, Gujarat-based Ayurveda institutes. The institutes will be conglomerated to establish the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA) in Jamnagar. This will be the first institution with INI status in the AYUSH Sector, the government said.
