The passenger vehicle sales in India rose marginally by 0.28% in the month of October, as per data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). A total of 2,85,027 units were sold in the month, as compared to 2,84,223 units in the year-ago period. The sales of commercial vehicles decreased by 23.31% year-on-year to 66,773 units in October.
