The Supreme Court on Tuesday found former CBI interim chief M Nageswara Rao guilty of contempt of court for transferring the officer in charge of the Muzaffarpur shelter home case without taking permission from the court. Imposing a ₹1-lakh fine on him, CJI Ranjan Gogoi-led bench ordered, "Go to one corner of court and sit down till court rises."
