People may be fined ₹20,000 for breaking odd-even rule under MV Act

People violating the odd-even rule in Delhi between November 4 and 15 could be fined up to ₹20,000 under the amended Motor Vehicles Act, traffic police and government officials said. Earlier, defaulters were fined ₹2,000. However, the final decision on the fine is yet to be announced and the government has the authority to reduce the amount.
