Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday hoisted the National Flag for the sixth straight time at the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day. With this, he equalled the number of times late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had hoisted the flag on the occasion of Independence Day. India is celebrating its 73rd Independence Day today.
