AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi said PM Modi should explain why India 'helped' China by abstaining on a draft UNHRC resolution seeking a debate on the human rights situation in Xinjiang. "Is he so scared of offending Xi Jinping, whom he met 18 times?" tweeted Owaisi. The Indian government said the decision was "in line with its long-held position".
