Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to temporarily shut eight COVID Care Centres due to low occupancy. The patients in these centres will be shifted to the ones nearby. "PMC has a total 21 COVID Care Centres in the city with a capacity of 15,430 beds," an official said. As of August 11, over 7,000 patients were in hospital isolation.
