Qatar has postponed the official opening of Education City Stadium, one of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, over certification. The stadium was to be inaugurated on December 18 when it was supposed to host FIFA Club World Cup semi-final involving Liverpool. The Education City was also scheduled to host the Club World Cup final and third-place play-off.
