Rajasthan Congress MLA Divya Maderna asked sarpanch Chandu Devi to sit on the floor, where villagers were seated, instead of on a chair beside her at a meeting. Divya later said she couldn't recognise Chandu as her head was covered, adding, "I considered her a simple villager and thought she'd come...with some grievance." Rajasthan Sarpanch Sangh has sought an apology.
