Home Minister Rajnath Singh received 6,33,026 votes and won the Lucknow Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 3,47,302 votes, recording his second successive win from the constituency. Lucknow seat has been a BJP stronghold for around 28 years. SP's Poonam Sinha, wife of Congress' Shatrughan Sinha, won 2,85,724 votes, while Congress' Acharya Pramod Krishnam got 1,80,011 votes.
