The Supreme Court (SC) has held Ranbaxy ex-promoters Malvinder Singh and Shivinder Singh guilty of contempt of court in a case filed by Japanese firm Daiichi Sankyo. SC said Malvinder and Shivinder violated its order asking them not to divest their shares in Fortis Healthcare Limited. They can get away from contempt by depositing ₹1,175 crore each, the SC added.
